The Painted Turtle camp is a medical speciality camp specifically for children and their families who are suffering from life-threatening illness. This camp, while associated with Paul Newman's "Hole in the Wall" camps, is designed for the children to have fun with other children just like them, while also receiving the amount of care and attention towards their medical needs.
The House Ear Institute is located in Los Angeles, California where scientists and researchers spend their efforts in improving and advancing the science of hearing. They investigate hearing loss, hearing disease and also work to improve hearing aids and auditory implants, diagnostics, and clinical treatments.
Gallaudet University is located in Washington, DC and is the world's only university with undergraduate programs accessible to hearing-impaired students.
